Baby Not Breathing Is A Parent's Worst Nightmare

- We use GOTS Certified Organic Cotton and hold an OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification because we wanted to set a higher standard. Our garments have been rigorously tested by CPSC-Accepted Testing Labs for harmful substances according to extensive scientific criteria that go beyond global regulations. This means we exceed US and Canadian standards for infant sleepwear. See our certifications.
- We use the highest quality 2-way YKK zippers for easy diaper changes without getting your baby undressed.
- We have 3 zipper guards (2 exterior & 1 interior) and No-Hole Locking zipper pulls. This makes it harder to get a hold of the zipper, but if they do, the No-Hole pull won't catch on baby's teeth (causing accidental tooth extraction).
- The interior zipper guard keeps the zipper track away from baby's skin.
- The top layer zipper track protector keeps the zipper track out of baby's mouth and away from sensitive gums.
- Our sleepwear is not and never will be weighted, as per AAP and CPSC safety recommendations.
- We do not use dyes. Our off-white color comes from an organic cotton boiling process.
- We do not use flame retardants in our manufacturing.
- Our sleepwear is endorsed by the Family Sleep Institute as well as Sleep Sense and many independent Night Nurses, Pediatricians, Doulas, Newborn Care Specialists, and Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultants

Higher Textile Standards
In designing our Sleep of Mind infant sleepwear, we carefully chose every single component that goes into the garment, making sure it’s up to every parent’s high standards.
We do not use dyes. We source GOTS Certified Organic Cotton and hold a OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification because we wanted to set a higher standard. Our garments have been independently tested for harmful substances according to extensive scientific criteria that go beyond global regulations. Because what we expose our children to impacts their health and well-being.
Safer Zippers
Zippers can get stuck or break, which is the last thing any parent wants in the middle of the night. So we selected YKK zippers for all our garments with their supreme standard for quality.
We have No-Hole YKK Locking zipper pulls. This makes it harder to get a hold of the zipper, but if they do, the No-Hole pull won't catch on baby's teeth (causing accidental tooth extraction).
Our two-way zipper also makes for easier diaper changes without having to undress your baby. Because of course, keeping your baby safe and happy is important to us too.
False Claims About Bamboo Fabric
Bamboo textiles cannot claim to be antibacterial because the processing removes the natural antibacterial agent, "bamboo kun," found in raw bamboo. During the production of bamboo viscose, bamboo is chemically broken down, stripping away its natural properties. Regulatory bodies like the FTC warn against unsupported antibacterial claims for bamboo fabrics. Most bamboo textiles are not eco-friendly either and marketing them as such is misleading.
We Believe Everyone Deserves Access to Sleep
Our goal is to make sure our sleepwear is as safe as it is affordable. Good sleep shouldn't be expensive or exclusive. Digital monitors and gadgets are not affordable but our simple solution makes good sleep more accessible to everyone.
